The win earns 3 pts for BWhit's squad and moves him to 3-2-1 with 1 KO. Gamboa is proving himself to have the highest upside of any prospect in boxing. Vitali Klitschko wins; Lucian Bute remains undefeated
In an extremely disappointing result, Vitali Klitschko was a 1st round TKO winner over undefeated Cuban contender Odlanier Solis after Solis tweaked his knee at the end of the first round and couldn't continue. Klitschko scored a knockdown with a strangely powerful right hook before the off-balance Solis injured himself. Klitschko gets 3 points for Jay's team.
Lucian Bute moved to 28-0 with 23 KOs after dispatching with Brian Magee in the 10th round. Bute was having a lukewarm performance until he closed the show in style.
