As it turned out, Manny Pacquiao is in a class above Ricky Hatton. Although Hatton has proven himself against such quality competition as Kostya Tszyu, Luis Collazo, Jose Luis Castillo and Paulie Malignaggi, he had no answer for the A-game of Pacquiao. Minutes into the fight, Hatton was on the deck as Pacquiao landed picture perfect hooks. Hatton made it out of the first round and seemed to be gaining a bit of composure in the 2nd round until Pacquiao again found the mark with a huge left haymaker directly on the chin. Hatton was rendered unconscious immediately and crumbled to the canvas in one of the most shocking KOs of recent memory. Following the fight, 2 questions remain: 1. Are we going to see Pacquiao vs Mayweather at some point this year? and 2. Will Ricky Hatton ever fight again?
From a league standpoint, Mark racks up big points while Jay's Hitmen suffer a crushing setback.
