Twomey's Raging Bulls added their 6th win (improving to 6-2) as Abner Mares defeated Joseph Agbeko by majority decision last Saturday night. Mares landed more punches, but also landed a large number of punches below the belt. Fans and announcers seemed shocked as referee Russell Mora repeatedly ignored low shots. The worst moment came in the 10th round as Mares landed a big left hook directly to the cup. Agbeko sank to the ground and the referee counted it as a knockdown, rather than penalize Mares. Mares earns 2 points with the win while an angry Agbeko is demanding a rematch.Unless teams pick up fighters from waivers, the league is now over.
