Lucian Bute won by 4th round knockout against challenger Jean Paul Mendy in France yesterday. Bute moves to 29-0 in his career and pushes Oro's Team Tyson's Punchout to 11-1 with 9 KOs on the season. (About a week ago, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam won a fight in Thailand that was barely reported, also a win for Oro). 
Paul Williams (40-2) received what most observers felt was a gift decision last night against Erislandy Lara. While the judges scored for Williams by majority decision, HBO's Harold Lederman scored the fight 117-111 for Lara. While I have yet to see the fight, reports indicated that Williams took a lot of brutal shots to the face and ended up a bloody mess. Andrew's Money Marenghi adds .5 with the win (3-1 on the season).
